History

The orchestra has been in existence since about 1974. It performs three or four programmes annually including symphonies, concertos, ballet concerts and children's performances, as well as an annual stage show with the Diamond Valley Singers.

Christmas Carols in the Park is held in Wadeson Park, Grassy Flat Road, Diamond Creek, each year on Christmas Eve, and many member of the Eltham and Surrey Hills orchestras take part, as well as other friends. In 2004 and 2005 this was organised by Janet Mason and conducted by Mary Wright.
